YSL

My life recently has consisted of a 3000 word visual essay, a 10,000 word group report, a presentation to the founders of Stylecompare.co.uk, a weekend trip home to Liverpool, a day trip with uni to London, baking brownies and shortbread with friends, a few well needed nights out and as of today.. snow. I've been mega busy, but in 2 weeks time I will have finished for christmas and will be able to get all my winter excitement out on the blog! A little pick me up I  bought when i was back home last weekend was this YSL lipstick, i constantly have my mum basically shouting at me telling me to start wearing lipstick because "i have lovely lips".. thats the usual backhanded compliment i get off my mum... but i've never been much of a make up person so i never think to reapply during the day, and one of my pet hates is when all my lipstick has gone from the middle and stayed on the outside. But as of now, i'm making a constant effort to change that.. i think my YSL deserves it :)

Back to School

I got so many comments this day on why i "looked like i was going to school". I guess sometimes i miss sitting around with nothing to do all day but chat to friends and slate the teachers. These were taken last week but i've had no time to put them up - blame it on a very time consuming report and presentation for university, plus a trip back home (which was fabulous - bring on Christmas!). The weather was just the right side of chilly, and these shoes are amazingly comfortable, I managed to walk all around Nottingham in them without one complaint.

Winter Wishlist

It's definitely full on fall in England now, and as per usual my clothing choices are starting to reflect that. It's so hard not to pull on my comfiest, warmest clothes in the morning to trail down the big hill on my (usually) rainy walk to uni, but that's just not fun. I'm loving the fact huge slouchy knits are so in this season, as much as my bank account won't allow it I want to cram my wardrobe full of them this winter to beat the chill while still looking chic. I have full on - fallen in love with these Kurt Geiger shoes, i plan to email them to my mum tomorrow for the first item on my christmas list! I need them in my life more than anything in the world right now. In fact, I need all these things in my life this Winter. (And if you haven't guessed, i'm loving all things Topshop - I have a great new purchase to show you soon)

This is Halloween

Here of some shots of my friend Lucy and I before we went out for Halloween. Comically, we decided to go out as cobwebs.. but realised that we pretty much just looked like Halloween itself? It was so much fun going crazy with my hair and make up, and our eyelashes were only £1! This holiday is so much fun, i love how its getting darker and colder, and everyones up for dressing up for a good night out. After seeing everyone, i've decided that next year i definitely want some scary contact lenses!
