When i stayed at my friend's the other night, she was proud to show off her DIY manicure - exclaiming about her 'ladybird fingertips'. In an instant, i wished i had the patience to try different looks on my nails rather than either biting them down to a pulp or getting tips gelled on. Still, unless i have help from my friends in the salon - i hate my nails anyway.

Coincidence has it that the day after she was coming with my to get mine done, and also searching for "a yellowy nail colour - so i can do leopard print!". Sitting being buffed, my eye caught a zebra print nail, and i thought - what the hell! I always say i'm going to explore and get some wacky nails, but i never seem to. So here you have it; i'm the proud owner of some fabulous nails.

They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot

The weather here is still being a pain, pretty much hot everday - but it can either go one of two ways.
1. It will rain meaning that maximum coverage is preferable (not including maxi skirts which get drenched running through puddles) or
2. the sun will break out and you'll try and shred off clothes as quickly as possible.
I'm sad to say its usually the former. But in better news these wedges are the comfiest shoes i own!

Oh, and how gorgeous is my friend Allie? I wish i had her legs! (Before you ask, no we didn't purposely colour co-ordinate our outfits, i guess that's 16 years of friendship!)

The view from my window everyday... oh, a typical English summer.

Greenhouse

The weather here has been so strange lately, really humid but constantly rainy. Not a favourable combination if you ask me! I'm absolutely loving the safari trend, so i couldn't resist this skirt when i saw it on sale on holiday. I also adore this vintage shirt, i'd been searching for one for so long and couldn't actually believe it when i found this one for just £5! The only downside it that it's quite a heavy material, not good for humid summer months - hence the bare legs.

Home from the reef

I'm sad to say i'm home from my holiday to Tenerife. I had the most amazing time, ate farr too much and indulged in one too many cocktails! It was lovely having a relax and spending time with my boyfriend, and we also hit up the Siam Waterpark - so much fun!

The front of our hotel was amazing!
